Official Pix Volunteer Sign-Ups
Now taking applications for volunteers for the following Official Pix events:
Dallas Comic Con, May 18-20, 2012
Star Wars Celebration VI, August 23-26, 2012

"I had a fantastic time! Being an aspiring comic book artist, I greatly enjoyed the
opportunity to spend time with John Romita Jr. and Stan Lee on Sunday! Listening to their
stories, advice to the fans, etc. was a great inspiration! The insight I gained from them
alone was worth the hours put in volunteering (my feet were killing me by the end of the
day!) I also enjoyed meeting and spending time with Amanda Pays while I was off duty. She
was absolutely wonderful, beautiful and most engaging! And she was also the reason I put
down on my application to volunteer!!!" - J.H.
"This was the first time I have volunteered for anything of this nature and let me
tell you I had a ball. I got to see all the costumes, everything from 2 face to sand people,
R2D2 to Storm troopers but only 1 Klingon.? Before the day was over I knew every question
even before they got to me. :) Later I assisted up in the ballroom and got to talk to the
Walking Dead Cast, and Part the seas for Mr. Spock what a Blast. I am ready for the next one." - S.N.
"Volunteering is the #1 way to give back to something you really enjoy, and gives you
first hand experience in a wonderful way. I would do it all without the perks, the perks and
items are great but its the experience that really moves you. My long time girlfriend volunteered
and isn't too much into comics, but I said "Anne will make you feel right at home" - and I was
right. Overall as a fan you get to re-create a cool experience for others, and you are able to
show a world class experience and make it really enjoyable for everyone who comes to the show,
and that's really rewarding." - T.H.
